As you know, Haute.Lanta Fashion Week has been in the planning stages for over a year now! Although there are about 4 new event knock-offs that came about only in the past few months, HLFW is here to stay. The short of it is, all of them pitched to work with me at one point and I turned them down. So I guess they felt that they could sabatoge my event by copying my whole concept. Besides causing a huge conflict of interest, I am also weary about the fact that they went to my website and solicited all my sponsors, designers, and even models as well. This is the exact reason why I turned them down: bad business. Don't take my word for it, do your research and I really encourage you to compare credentials!!!

So I was reading In Touch the other day and saw something interesting:

More than 100 Russian women took part in a High Heeled Sprint in St. Petersburg . The minimum height of the heels was about 3.5 inches.

The winner got to take home 50,000 roubles, which is $2000 US dollars. For some of you, $2000 is only a pair or two, but oh what the heck, the photos are hilarious…
